Although the music video of Miss A’s Good Bye Baby has many cool special effects, it still feels very lifeless. The four girls are singing and dancing, but it looks like they are just going through what they rehearsed earlier.
If I had to dig out something positive about this song, I would say that the rap is quite good. The dance during the rap is also neat, and I like that there are many dancing scenes throughout the music video. There is a mature and abstract “female empowering” story going on, but it’s more of a distraction and is totally redundant.
The visuals get repetitive and stale as the song runs along, and the vocals become increasing dreary as well. However, Good Bye Baby has an acceptable dance routine and just enough flair to keep the average K-pop fan occupied.
